Art trade: Nightstriker and Nightgazer

My part of the art trade with . She asked me to draw two of her OC's, Nightstriker and his son, Nightgazer. For some reason I ended up drawing Nightstriker reading a bedtime story for little Nightgazer :3

Honestly though, I don't think I did that well with this picture. I think the main issue here is the coloring, which was kind of rushed because I wanted to get this drawing done today, and my scanner messed the colors up even more. (Take the pillow, for example. It was supposed to be light green and not whatever the heck it now is.) Sigh... At least I tried...

So yeah... Not much to say here... Maybe I should apologize for ruining this drawing...?
