Okay so I'm back with this page. And no, I don't actually think it's as bad as my first comment might make you assume, because if it was, there's no way I would have uploaded it here, right? I gotta make sure the stuff I put up here have at least some quality! Sigh... :3

Well, let's see now... During the time I didn't work on this, I totally forgot how to draw Irae, but he seems to have turned out okay in the end. And on this page we have yet another one of everyone's favorite things ever: flashbacks. You might not know this, but I've noticed that several of my stories rely heavily on flashbacks. I dunno, I guess I just find it boring if the characters just explain their pasts. Doing that may be okay in novels and written stories, but in comics, where the message is supposed to be delivered by pictures, I find it more entertaining to draw flashbacks to explain the characters' backgrounds. Originally, I was planning to make Irae's flashback less clear and leave more to the reader's imagination. But that was when I still was planning to do a continuation story for Frozen Leaves, which would have had Irae in it as well. In that story, I would have completed the telling of his past. Now I'm not so sure if I want to make that continuation story anymore. So for those who I might have been curious about it, I decided to draw Irae's past in a bit more detail, because I do believe it is worth telling (like I would spend several pages on describing the past of a character if it's not even interesting). So I hope you don't mind the story taking yet another detour Still remember the original point of this story? Neither do I. 

I took the liberty of naming and designing Irae's old home town, so I hope a certain role-play group owner doesn't mind that... I did enjoy drawing the buildings in this one, even if it was painfully slow. I used a specific type of architecture style too, but I doubt anyone can recognize the style from this mess xD I was also confronted by my mortal enemy (or one of them) while drawing this: perspective. I am so not good at that! Maybe I shouldn't have quit that one art class... Then again, it's not like we learned about perspective there. The teacher kinda assumed we still remembered all about it from elementary school. Also my first time drawing a Zekrom (yes that is supposed to be a Zekrom) which could have gone better, but ehehe... I think this is good enough for a beginner like me. Also please ignore the fact that young Irae looks exactly like his older version, minus the kick-ass cape-jacket-thingy

p.s. Has the clearness of the illustrations improved any since last page? I used a different pencil for drawing this page and I'd like to know if it did any good.
